Bonjour! My name is Ashley Matthews and I am a French Immersion teacher with the Halifax Regional Centre for Education. I am entering my 11th year of teaching and boy do I love it. I am in the classroom 50% of the time teaching Language Arts (with interdisciplinary Social Studies, Health and Art) and the other 50% I am the French Immersion Resource teacher for grades Primary-6. I get the best of both worlds!

Here is a bit about me! I live in Halifax with my husband Ronnie, our daughter Georgie and our Goldendoodle Ruby. Georgie is 4 and Ruby is 8 years old and lots of fun. I'm sure you will hear lots of great stories throughout the school year of our adventures.
